Colleen was born and raised in the small rural Midwest town of Stephens Point, Wisconsin. Following a family move, she attended high school in Naples, Florida and from there she took her midwestern values, her genuine compassion for people, and good business sense, and headed northeast where she opened her first mortgage brokerage business in Massachusetts. After 21 years of running her own business in the Boston area and with her children moving south, she and her husband, Stuart decided to make the move to North Carolina where their youngest daughter was attending East Carolina University (ECU) and their oldest daughter and her husband live and work in the Charlotte area.
With her previous experience of running her own company for many years and knowing she could provide her customers both better rates and service, she once again started her own company. Carolina Country Mortgage, a full-service fiduciary mortgage company.
Using her unique business model, Colleen has worked hard to build a team of seasoned professionals who each bring a unique perspective to the company. Colleen is known for her affable style and deep caring concern for each and every one of her clients. Colleen provides one on one service to her clients, taking the time to educate them during the biggest purchase of their lives.
Unlike most mortgage companies who aren’t available nights, weekends or holidays, Colleen makes herself available to her clients anytime of the day or evening.
Colleen and her family all realize it is the people and wonderful communities within North Carolina that make this a very special place to live. Both she and her husband Stuart have previously done volunteer work in each of the communities they have lived in and are continuing their efforts where they currently live in Chapel Hill, NC.
